Leave a legacy
How will you make your mark on the world? If you’re able to leave a gift to Plan International UK in your will, no matter how big or small, you’ll be helping the next generation of girls and boys learn the most valuable lessons they’ll ever learn. Lessons in self-esteem, life skills and independence.
We understand that your loved ones should always come first, and that pledging a gift in your will is a very personal decision. We're now offering our supporters a free will that can be completed through our partnership with The National Free Wills Network. We’d also like to send you a free information pack, to help you give it some more thought. You can also download the pack below.
If you’d prefer to speak to someone, please call 020 3217 0215 and our Gifts In Wills team will be happy to help. On behalf of every child who hasn’t yet met their full potential, thank you so much for considering a gift to Plan International UK. Your kindness could open opportunities that many girls and boys never dreamt possible.

Free wills
We all know how easy it is to put things off, including writing a will. That’s why we’ve partnered with The National Free Wills Network to offer our supporters a free will. Our partnership means a limited number of our supporters can write a will for free at local solicitors. Plan International UK pays a discounted rate for the writing of simple wills at no cost to you.
While there is no obligation to include Plan International UK in your will when using the offer, we would be extremely grateful if you would consider including a gift to benefit future generations of children and girls.
To register for this offer, please complete the form below. We will pass your information to The National Free Wills Network who will be in touch with information on participating solicitors in your area within three weeks.
We've been giving children every chance since 1937
After seeing the plight of orphaned children during the Spanish Civil War, John Langdon-Davies founded the Foster Parents Scheme for Children in Spain. He was determined to help – to provide food, shelter and education
to them, and make sure they had opportunities to thrive.
Though the name on our door is now Plan International UK, his determination to change lives is still in place today, generations later, because of our supporters.
Knowledge is power
Growing up in the Indian city of Hyderabad, 21-year-old student Nilofer has seen how problems like child marriage, child trafficking, child labour and violence against girls and young women are all connected to a lack of education. Nilofer’s determined to pass on the power of an education to the next generation.
Nilofer gives extra lessons to girls, both inside and outside her school. And now, as a Plan International youth advocate, she’s campaigning to make sure all girls in her community have access to an education. “Knowledge is power,” she states. “And power sets you free.”
'I just wanted to help make the world a better place'
After seeing children on the streets instead of in school whilst travelling, Julie and her husband Geoff were inspired to act by sponsoring a child with Plan International.
It’s that desire to help that’s led them to leave a gift to Plan International UK in their wills, so that their support can impact the education of girls for generations to come.
