Children are at the centre of Plan’s work. Taking part in our projects encourages them to take control of their lives, and helps us to target our work to their needs. What’s more, many of the children who take part in our projects go on to become leaders in their communities, and continue to make a positive difference in their later lives.
The Slices of Life are written and produced with the direct input from children in the communities we work with. These short reports give the children a chance to tell sponsors in the UK about issues which really concern them and which they are helping to tackle.
