Other ways to help

Plan speakers bring our work to life!

Are you member of a club – a women’s club, church group, rotary club or similar?

If you are interested in what life is like for children in some of the world’s poorest countries and how Plan works with these children so they can move themselves from a life of poverty to a future with opportunity, Plan can arrange a FREE talk by a speaker from our network of over 50 people about their personal experiences of Plan’s work.

Plan speakers are fully trained volunteers. They are dedicated and knowledgeable supporters who have first-hand experience of how lives can be transformed; their stories are immensely moving and informative. They can deliver presentations suitable for small or large group settings, lasting anywhere from 15 minutes to up to 1 hour.

We are truly passionate about raising awareness of the positive changes Plan is achieving with and for children and would really like to talk to you about arranging a visit from one of our speakers. We would be happy to discuss, by phone or email, how we can provide the best talk for you.

You just need to have a venue, a sufficient audience and we will do the rest! Plan Speakers are available in many locations throughout England. On receipt of your request, our team will advise you of availability for your event.

If you have any questions, please contact Gary Sutcliffe at Plan on 0300 777 9777 or bookaspeaker@plan-international.org.uk.
