How our partnerships work
We are building long-term relationships with trusts and foundations that are good for you, good for us, and – most importantly – good for children.
Through building relationships with trusts and foundations, we’re able to fund long-term, sustainable programmes to help children and communities in some of the world’s poorest countries achieve their rights to education, a safe home and the chance to make a living.
You can choose to support a specific project or area of work, or simply allow us to use your donation where it’s most needed. You’ll be assigned a dedicated contact in our Trust Funding team who will work closely with you to see where and how your donation can make the greatest impact.
Trust partnerships
At Plan we are working in collaboration with trusts and foundations to achieve maximum strategic impact - for trusts, for our core business objectives and for children. A three year project, funded by Pears Foundation and other valued supporters, is leveraging funding and long lasting change from the Ministry of Education. The project is transforming education standards and facilities for over 5,000 children in one of the poorest areas of Honduras.
Trust donations
A donation from your charitable trust or foundation will have a real impact on the lives of children in some of the least developed countries in the world. The Trustees are welcome to support a specific area or project, choose a priority project or simply allow us to direct it where it is needed most. However you decide to give we will make sure your donation benefits as many children as possible and that you are kept up to date with the project’s progress.
See for yourself the difference you are making
Plan takes accountability very seriously – we will provide you with regular updates on the project your donation is funding so you can see for yourself the impact you’re having. You’re also very welcome to visit the project to see results first-hand.
All our work is carefully monitored to make sure we’re meeting children’s needs, and we use internal and external auditors to monitor our finances and day-to-day management.
