How we work with business

Private sector - how we work with businesses

Below are some ways your company can get involved and engage across the full range of our work.

Corporate partnerships

At Plan we are working in collaboration with companies to provide children with a better life at the same time as addressing core business objectives. Plan is working with multi-national businesses ranging from Nokia to PepsiCo and Accenture to Procter & Gamble. Here in the UK we manage flagship partnerships with Barclays, AstraZeneca, Credit Suisse, NIVEA and Turner Broadcasting.

Corporate donation

A corporate donation can change lives. Plan has identified a number of projects where your donation can make the greatest impact. You can choose to support a specific project or area, or simply allow us to use your donation where it’s needed most. We will work with you to ensure your donation benefits your company as well as the children and families it supports. Read about our impact projects.

Promoting our campaigns

By supporting our campaigns you can help Plan achieve lasting change. Through our Because I Am a Girl campaign, we work with businesses to raise awareness of the challenges facing girls and the power girls have to provide a path out of poverty for themselves and their families. Find out more.

Employee engagement

Involving employees through pro bono work, fundraising or payroll giving is extremely valuable when developing a responsible business. These relationships undoubtedly improve staff motivation and retention, customer service and commitment. Find out more.

Sponsorship and events

Sponsoring or contributing to Plan events provide great opportunities for raising brand awareness and to further promote your partnership with Plan. To find out more, please contact us.

Charity of the Year

Make Plan your charity for the year, and by supporting us across your business for a year, you and your employees can make a big impact. You could choose to make Plan’s Because I Am a Girl your charity campaign of the year to raise awareness of our work and help create a better future for girls. Join Reed Elsevier in making Plan your charity of choice for the year.

Pro bono and gifts in kind

Your time and gifts in kind are invaluable to us. Whatever your business or skills base there is a way to help – from legal advice or consultancy to the use of conference facilities and information technology or travel. For more information on how you can support Plan and enable us to save time and resources, please contact us.

Payroll giving

Payroll giving is a great way for employees to support Plan direct from their pay packet – it’s tax efficient, easy to set up and provides a regular way to support Plan. Regular donations are important to us as they supply a reliable income, so we can plan long-term development projects and respond immediately to emergencies or disasters. Please contact us for more information.

Recycling

Help Plan by recycling your old mobile phones with Foneclub. Companies or individuals can request recycling bags and start raising money for Plan and if you have over 20 phones then you can arrange free courier collection.
