Private donors

For those wanting to make a personal contribution, philanthropy can provide an opportunity to take action. Through specific programmes, you will be able to understand the impact of your investment, see the difference it is making and, above all, be inspired by the communities themselves.

Our personal approach

We understand that your generosity is extremely personal. We value each and every donor, and are committed to connecting you with whichever aspect of our work you feel most passionate about.

You’ll be assigned a personal contact within Plan who will keep you up to date on the difference your donation is making. If you’re new to philanthropy or international development, we’ll talk you through each stage to make sure you’re happy with how your gift is used.

See for yourself the difference you’re making

Plan takes accountability very seriously – we will provide you with regular updates on the project your donation is funding so you can see for yourself the impact you’re having.

You’ll also hear from the children themselves and see photographs and sometimes videos as work unfolds. You’re also very welcome to visit the project to see results first-hand, and to attend our exclusive events.

Like you, we value honesty, and we’re proud of our excellent monitoring and evaluation processes ensuring everything we do is clear. By investing with Plan, you can be sure your gift will be carefully and effectively used where it’s most needed.

If you would like to talk more about supporting your own project please contact Francesca Hewitt, Senior Private Partnerships Executive, or Stephanie Moran, Trusts and Private Partnerships Team Manager.

Achieve the greatest impact

By donating to a Plan impact project, you can achieve even more with your donation. On average, for every £1 we receive in donations, the European Commission contributes £3 to support our work with the poorest, most vulnerable communities. Find out more about donating to a Plan impact project
