Have a great night with the girls and give other girls a helping hand.
Here’s a great idea for how you and your friends can help other girls break the cycle of poverty. Simply invite your friends round for dinner or an informal get together. In return, ask them to make a donation to Plan’s Because I am a Girl campaign. You can even set the amount you want them to pay – think BIG!
To help you, we’ll supply a whole host of delicious menu ideas exclusively cooked up by Ruth Rogers, co-founder of London’s River Café. And why not get your guests to share the load by making a dish each?
How do I organise a Girls’ Night In?
Simply register as a host using the online form below. In return, you’ll receive your exclusive Ruth Rogers recipes, an invitation ready for you to email to your friends and some other fundraising ideas. When we have received the money raised we will also send you a Plan cloth bag as a small way of saying thank you for being a fantastic host.
Please sign up at least ten days before your Girls' Night In to allow time for your pack to reach you.
If you’re a pupil or teacher thinking about holding a Girls Get Together then please click here for some fundraising ideas.
How will my Girls’ Night In help?
All money raised goes to projects that directly provide girls with the opportunity to turn their lives around. These are designed to support disadvantaged girls to gain the skills and confidence to become independent women, and the opportunities to fulfil their aspirations. Read more details of the campaign and projects you’re helping to support.
