Goal 8: Develop a global partnership for development

>>Promoting communication and mutual understanding to foster a global commitment to children's rights

We collaborate with communities to ensure that children and young people are increasingly at the centre of our thinking and can help to shape what we do and influence the policies affecting their lives.

We build relationships between the communities, local partners and authorities to promote children's rights.

We forge relationships between the communities we work with and supporters in the UK to ensure children are able to take control of their development well into the future. Our supporters receive communications aimed at increasing their understanding of the development process.

We build global partnerships with local, regional and international organisations to promote child-centred community development.

Some of our activities:

Join the World's Biggest Lesson in 2008
Find out how your school can get involved in the Send My Friend campaign and challenge world leaders to ensure all children receive an education

Hope for Africa Hope for African Children
