Ever fancied trekking to the Roof of Africa?
United Arab Emirates based charity Gulf for Good is inviting Plan supporters and non-supporters from across the world to join them on a trek to the summit of the world’s highest freestanding mountain – Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. This challenge takes place July 3 –11 July 2008.
Participants in this life-changing adventure will raise vital funds for Plan’s work in Kenya and get the opportunity to see our project work first-hand during the trip.
Beginning in Nairobi, the group will drive to Tanzania where they will start this tough 9-day challenge (with 5 days actual trekking). Let the ascent begin!

Rated at a difficult to demanding fitness level and accompanied by a local team of experienced guides, participants on this challenge will be able to truly test their limits whilst experiencing and exploring an exceptional part of the world in the company of like-minded individuals. Participants will need to raise a minimum sponsorship to take part.
