Goal 1: Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger

>>More than 1.2 billion people are living on less than 60 pence a day.

Plan collaborates with local people to implement projects aimed at improving their living conditions through healthcare, water and sanitation.

We work to increase food security and disposable income for families to improve their children's welfare. We collaborate with children and their parents on their educational needs and future development, and together we look at the job and income opportunities for young people and adults within the area they live.

Some of our projects:

Laila is able to send her children to school Microfinance in Bangladesh: Laila's story

Ngwenya is proud of her new well Drip irrigation bears fruits in Zimbabwe - Ngwenya's story
Ngwenya, thanks to her newly acquired skills, can now afford to fee, cloth and pay school fees for her six children
