The Royal Parks Foundation, the charity for the eight Royal Parks, is launching a new half marathon in London on 12 October 2008, starting and ending in Hyde Park.

12,500 runners will race through four Royal Parks – Hyde Park, St James's Park, Green Park and Kensington Gardens. It's the first time that a half marathon has been organised through the Royal Parks, and the route will celebrate the diversity and scenery provided in London.  It will include running past iconic sights such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and The Royal Albert Hall.

Be a part of the first London Half Marathon

You can be a part of this exciting event by becoming one of our team of runners and raise money for Plan.

Places on our team are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so get in touch as soon as you can. You’ll simply have to pay a £50 registration fee (including VAT) and pledge to raise £550 in sponsorship. To secure a place please fill in our online registration form today

If you have your own place for the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon, we’d still love you to run with Plan and join us on the day. We only have a limited number of guaranteed places available so we really appreciate any sponsorship money raised by people with their own places.
