Classic Jaguar Touring: Argentina

Classic Jaguar car owners are invited to join this amazing adventure. After flying into Buenos Aires, you will tour the Patagonia region in your XK or E type Jag. The pace is leisurely, including cultural visits and local information, with the emphasis on a fun holiday for drivers and their partners.

As Jim Gavin, part of the team, who helped plan the route and took part in the "reece" for the tour explains:

"Unless you have driven across Australia or North Africa, there is very little that can prepare you for the sheer vastness of Argentina.

"It is a huge country, where areas, of what we in the U.K. like to call 'areas of outstanding natural beauty', are interspersed by long (indeed, sometimes very long!) empty roads that stretch from horizon to distant horizon.

"This will be much more of an 'adventure' than any normal car tour. Crews will experience the snow-capped Andes, the vast Pampas - still the home of the proud Gauchos - the animal wonders of Peninsula Valdes, the charming 'Welsh' townships of Patagonia, lush river valleys with row after row of Cypress and Poplar trees, remote Estancias, craggy canyons and our selected hotels ranging from the ultra luxurious to the plain and simple."

This 19 night trip includes accommodation, 11 dinners, 4 lunches, back up mechanic, and two internal flights. A proportion of the money raised will go to Plan, as well as four other charities.
