Plan UK's children's advisory panel
Plan UK’s Children’s Advisory Panel (CAP) is a group of young people aged 12-17 who offer Plan an invaluable child’s perspective on Plan’s work.
CAP is a group of 9 young people who have come together from all over the UK because they care about global issues and want to end world poverty. They help us to understand issues from a young person’s point of view, which is invaluable to us as everything we do is for young people.
Here at Plan we believe that children should be at the centre of everything we do because only children are the experts in their own lives. That’s why we ask CAP to advise us on everything from projects we are working on to policies from the government so that we can include their hugely important voice in decisions that are made.
There are currently ten Children’s Advisory Panels all over the Plan world in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the USA consisting of young people who are all united in the fight against world poverty.
