For supply and installation of solar panels in Ethiopia
1. Plan is a child-centred community development organisation that helps children and their families in 49 of the poorest countries to break the cycle of poverty.
Plan UK has a project in Ethiopia funded by the European Union that seeks to provide services for rural schools, health posts and solar powered water pumps with solar energy sources.
2. Plan UK is inviting sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and installation of solar units for selected ten solar powered water pumps in Jimma, Shebedino and Lalibela Program Units, Ethiopia.
3. Interested bidders may obtain a complete set of bidding documents from the address below or download below.
4. Closing date: Bids must be delivered to the address below by 1 February 2010 at 5:00 PM. Late bids will be rejected. The Technical and Financial Bids should be submitted in separate sealed envelopes. The successful bidder will be notified in writing within 30 days of opening the bids.
