We are currently recruiting for a Governance Programme Manager who will provide technical leadership within Plan UK on governance issues and be responsible for all aspects of the strategic development and successful delivery of a high quality, innovative Governance Programme.
The post holder will be responsible for coordinating all programme activities ensuring that primary relationships are developed and maintained within Plan UK and across Plan at international, regional and national levels; with partner organisations, DFID, and other key stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with experience of developing and overseeing effective programmes to strengthen citizens’ voice in decision-making and of increasing the accountability of local or central government in developing countries, preferably involving children and young people. You will have a good understanding of key actors and current debates in the governance/voice and accountability field, be committed to learning and quality, and have strong communication skills.
